How do I make my door footings and keep floor dirt from falling in when all being poured at once? Mainly worried about the dirt while digging. Before concrete
My floor has been set to grade and is compacted and I am afraid when I start digging for overhead door footings. The dirt under my foamboard that is compacted will break free and leave gaps under it. What kind of retaining method should I use
I just thickened the slab to 10" and added a shitload of rebar at the openings , a compromise for sure but I knew at some point **** just has to get done! I too wonder what the solution is when dealing with foam board and compacted fill frost effects on posts on either side of door openings etc. good luck Dave get her done this weekend it's gonna be nice weather.
