Hi all, we recently built a new home, less than a year ago. I installed Chamberlain openers on both doors. Well today the main double door lost it's tail pulley on the rail. It is the pulley nearest to the door. The stock pulley is Plastic (part # 144C56), Chamberlain is being great and UPSing us a new pulley, which is good.
My question is, has anyone found an upgrades metal pulley for this application? It just seems like this will happen again with how cheaply made the stock one is.

I have used chamberlain openers in all my garages for the last 30 years. Must have been at least a half dozen. Also, I am a handyman and have installed many chamberlain openers for my customers over the last 16 years. I have never had one break or go bad. If I had to guess I would say you just had a defective one. Let's see what everyone else says.

Well Thais good to hear. These openers have great reviews here and elsewhere. I am hoping that is all it was.
