Door openers

I am in the process of starting to build my 30X60X14 garage. I will have 2 garage doors, on 10wX12h and 16wX12h. The question I have is can you set a door opener to only open the door say 8' high, I will only need to open the door all the way only several times a month. Thanks for the help....Mark

All openers have limit switches of some sort. Most are mechanical some of the newer ones are electronic. You could adjust it to the height that you need and when something higher needs to go in just pull the cord and open it by hand.
