I have recently added a bay and rear overhang to my existing two bay garage and need some ideas and advice on closing in the overhang bays . I originally planned on leaving them open and just using it for getting things undercover but it has worked out well and now I need to close it off for the winter months and would like to leave open in the summer.
I was thinking of making some sliding barn doors but one bay will always be closed even with a bypass track system.
Roll up garage doors but they all seem to need 16 inches of headroom above door and I only have 12 inches. Does anyone have experience with this style door or know of a low clearance one.
Custom garage door with the track following the 3 pitch roof rafters?
Any ideas would be appreciated and where to find them would be great.

I just went to the local big box home improvement store (Menards by me) that sold Coplay doors.
They had 2 displays. One for residential and one for commercial.
The commercial one showed an install with the tracks following the roof slope so I knew they understood the concept.
I gave them door dimensions, distance from top of opening to top of wall, and roof slope.
They delivered the door, all hardware made for the install, and detailed install instructions.

You can get low clearance tracks for any garage door that will work with 12 in of headroom.

You can also get "follow the pitch" tracks, they are a fairly expensive option though.

You should not have any problem getting rollup garage doors.
