Trying to decide on whether to use insulated or non-insulated doors. The rest of the room is well-insulated (heated and cooled) so I'm thinking I should have insulated. Please chime in with pros and cons. Thanks.

If you spent the time and money to insulate the rest of the garage I would go ahead and do it on the doors as well. It will only cost you about 75-125 dollars depending on the size of the door. Most have an R-value of 6 or so. It ususally makes them a little less noisy as well.

Insulate. It will keep you warm / cool and keep the neighbors happier (noise).

I've also been told that with a steel door, the insulation helps reduce denting of the exterior surface from minor impacts (ie: kids, basketballs, bikes, etc.)

When your garage is 20 degrees warmer than it is outside (in the winter), you'll be glad you installed insulated doors.
