Double barrel wood stove

Any ideas on venting a double barrel wood stove in a corrugated metal Quonset hut style shop

I would use double wall metal chimney specifically rated for wood stove

Few insurance companies will pay a claim for a fire in a shop with a wood stove. Most will force you to remove it or drop you. My fathers shops and every farmer that I know has had this happen at least 10 years ago.

None will with an home made barrel stove that are not not UL rated.

Dont use double wall pipe. Use stove pipe (single wall) up to the ceiling then tripple wall through to the outside.

Tripple wall is not very expensive and usualy has a 2in clearance to combustables. Its also stainless so exterior rated.

I'd put it outside in a metal box and duct the heat from the box back inside. Leave the open end for feeding it outside the box, you'll love it. No smoke inside the shop. Put a blower fan inside the shop blowing to the heated box and duct it back in. If It's on a Thermostat, you can add a damper solenoid to the fire box so when it doesn't call for heat it chokes the fire down.
