Double broadcast quartz floor with cove base

Good day all, I rarely post pictures of the floors I am working on but figured I would make a thread for this one because I'm bored. Floor is not finished yet so this will be a progressive thread.

This is a 660 square foot garage including the storage area. It is receiving Cove Base all the way around and a double broadcast of decorative quartz into polyaspartic.

The floor was ground with 16/20 grit metal bond diamonds, then joint filled. I went ahead and reground the joints since I knew I would be coating them outside of the joint fillers recoat window.

Here are some pictures of the Cove Base. After it was installed I came in the next day peeled all the tape, cleaned up the mess, and ran a rough Stone along the floor to smooth out any inconsistencies.

Next I applied two coats of a clear 85% solids 2-component polyaspartic to the cove base. I thinned each coat by 25% for ease of application.

Then I laid down my 100% solids epoxy primer at 220 sq ft/gallon. So I mixed 3 gallons of material and reduced it with 64 oz of solvent, spread it with a squeegee and back rolled North to South, then East to West.

I applied the first polyaspartic coat at 200 square feet per gallon and broadcast quartz until refusal. These are the results.

After everything is swept and vacuumed I will apply a 2nd broadcast coat the same way, applying at 100-150 sq ft per gallon.

Well after the second broadcast was cleaned up I found some problem areas where we cut in the perimeter. The fast-cure polyaspartic had cured enough that it wouldn't accept broadcast in some areas, so I had to carefully go back and cut-in, and re-broadcast. I then used a mag trowel to flatten out the area I had to touch-up. Came out pretty well.

Applied the grout coat, 85% solids polyaspartic thinned 5% at 80 sq ft/gal or 20 wet mils.

It had rained all night and we had low clouds so it was VERY humid, making the product's working time almost cut in half. About 5 mins per 1 gallon batch..

After each section was rolled out I went back and mist a solvent, Methyl Ketone, over it to lessen any roller lines.

Thanks! Customer saw it this morning and was thrilled. He's very excited about the durability of the floor (~12,000 PSI) and the cleanibility during winter.
