Double D shock absorber sockets

Those don't seem to fit the Ford Focus...

Are there others? Preferably made like the w-body socket?

I have a set of pass-through sockets that can fit the nut.

I normally just hold the stem with an adjustable wrench or small box end.

I am curious of this as well....have one that never seems to fit what I need it for at the time. Open end wrench just spreads and slips.

I figured that would have been the 1st response as well lol. They have 3 different sizes and I haven't come across anything they won't fit (including a Focus).

Let me know the dimensions of the focus shock stem, I have an older snap on that isn't made anymore that worked for me.

I have 3 snap on ones that came to me used in a bunch of tools a few years ago. I never knew they existed until I got them, but they have fit everything I have run into so far. That has included a ford focus and a ford escape, so I know they fit at least those two fords. They work great compared to a crescent wrench or vise grips.

They didn't really fit the S10 either.

I have never used a shock socket wrench to remove a shock... The shock is junk anyway so I just use a deep well socket and a 12" extension to bend the shock stud off at the bottom of the nut. Put the socket on the nut and start bending the stud. It will usually break off, right at the bottom of the nut, after 7 or 8 "bends". Have both shocks off in 10 minutes or less.
