I'm looking into future storage options, has anyone put in one of those double 4 post lifts that picks up 2 cars at a time?

I'm working on some layouts for the garage build, but was daydreaming about fitting 6 cars into a 4 car space.

I looked those but figured it’d be a pain to have to move everything from under the lift just to get one car down. I guess if it was going to be used for long term project storage or seasonal cars it’d probably be good.

A lot of youtubers have had them installed and have good videos on them. Check out Vice Grip Garage on Youtube as well as Off The Ranch.
The benefit to having 2 independent hoists if you have the space is you only have to move one car underneath to get to one of the top cars. I'm always shuffling around my cars in my storage building, the less you can move when trying to get one the better. The benefit to a double wide is you have a more compact lift compared to 2 and have more flexibility underneath.

The Youtubers I mentioned both happened to use Wildfire:

I installed a double lift to span a double car garage, but only store one vehicle above because of the vaulted ceiling. I use the side for storage. Works pretty good.

I have the BP double wide and can confirm that it's a hassle to clear out all the space below in order to drop the lift. 2 singles are more convenient for frequent usage but the center post can be a deal breaker for some setups.
