Picked up a torpedo level marked Douglas Co. N.H. Marked #509. Alum w/ orange paint.
Anyone have some info as to their history?? Thanks.

I've got one marked Douglas Co. Charlotte NC USA No. 509 Torpedo Level Patent Pending

Bare aluminum with red paint background in the background areas of the company and product info on the top edge.

Do they look like the three on ebay? Those one's must be after 1958 with Radiator Specialty company.

According to RSC " In 1958, the Douglas Tools line of augers, hole saws, hammers, levels, and measuring devices, was added. "

I looked on ebay and saw a few other tools from Douglas like a keyhole saw with aluminum handle and a small meat tenderizer hammer. I wonder if they had anything to do with Douglas aircraft......probably not, but it is quite a bit of aluminum......
