My old simple 1960s plastic 'push in and hold' tester cracked. Will use a (new) tester occasionally on anything from 2-stroke power equipment to old school garden tractor or '71 Chevy SB. I'm down to the following 3 brands... Comments...?

MityVac 5530 $67 (also OEM'd for discontinued Craftsman)

Actron CP7828A $42

OTC 5606 ($52) or OTC 5605 Dlx ($71)

Thanks!

FWIW if you purchase the MityVac outside their traditional distributors - no warranty. So if you get it on say Amazon - no manufacturer warranty but can get it elsewhere for about double. Seems strange it's offered under eBay prime and seller is identified as "Mityvac" but not 'Amazon'. I guess in this case you can pay the cheaper price for a mainstream online retailer but only get the initial return/satisfaction warranty and beyond that you're on your own.

OTC and Actron both list major retailers including Amazon as 'where to buy'

Looking closer at the kits - I personally will not need the Ford adapter or long fixed tube - making the 5606 perhaps better for me than the 5605. I also like the 5530 but don't like their warranty policy.

Anybody have any experience dealing with any of these companies after the purchase?

Footnote - saw some CP7828A literature on the OTC site suggesting a connection between these 2 brands.
