DPST 15 Amp Trigger Switch for Cut Off Saw

Just got off the phone with Harbor Freight, they no longer have a switch for my Chicago Electric 01624 Industrial Cut Off Saw. It is a DPST trigger switch that doesn't make on one of the 2 poles.

I will either have to look for a replacement or just switch one of the two poles after I tie the other two leads together.

Does anyone have any suggestions about where to find a replacement switch?

Is there a brand and part number on the switch itself? It may be possible to cross reference it to something else.

Also, try Digi-Key or Mouser Electronics.

Is this a 240 volt device? Why were both sides being switched?

If 240 I would do as you suggest and tie one side through and just use the working pole.

If 120, I would identify the hot lead, should be black, and switch that one and tie the white lead through.

I have been referred to EurtonElectric.com, (800) 423-4789 they have what looks like a nice catalog. I wound up in their voicemail and am waiting for a return call

Married the neutral and one motor lead together at the switch. The tool is running again.
My call to Eurton Electric has not been returned yet. They do have a good selection of switches on their website.

Customer Service is the unknown.
