Hello Everyone!

I have been lurking on Garagejournal for way too long.... so I thought I would posts pics of my small one car garage.

My wife and I bought a small house about 4 years ago with a small "wood workers" shop at the back of the property. Since then I have worked hard to turn it into the man cave you see today.

It measures 13' x 24' (EDIT INTERIOR SPACE) and has just enough room to build motorcycles, 4x4's and various hot rods.

I have had to get creative with space to keep things as easy as possible to work on.

In these pics you can see my cluttered mess of a work bench, and various storage systems.

When we got the property this garage was empty except for the ceder planks on the walls and a crappy 2x4 work bench that I removed instantly.

I got the work bench the way I wanted it and moved in all the equipment and junk you see today.

I installed 16 gauge x 12" baseboard made of galvanized steel around the perimeter. Helps with washing the floor and keeping sparks away from the walls.

I made a gantry crane which really helps for pulling truck boxes, engines and setting up axles.

There is a little storage up stairs that I fill to the brim. I need to start ebaying stuff :lol_hitti

I wish I had more pics of stuff that I have had living in this thing...

Currently there are my 1957 Harley basketcase, klx300 supermoto and my wifes dr 200.

I am currently finishing a '76 FJ45 Landcruiser.

There is a little space beside the garage so I bought one of those car tent things for extra storage. Fortunately there is a garden shed on the other side of the property for all the lawn ****. I won't keep the snowboards and bikes out there though. :)

....And before anyone gets any ideas, I made those security window bars shortly after we bought the house.

I tied the security system into the house as well with two sensors. I just have to remember to turn it off before i go in there :bounce:

I like it. Small yet cozy and useful!! Did you do the metal work in the window? I notice the suzuki and fj40 grills on the wall, do you have one or the other that you work on? What kind of stuff do you get to work on? Oh yeah, and I like the fridge and coors light banner too! Do you heat and cool the place?

It has infrared heat on the ceiling, and as for cooling I have a window and a fan :)

With space such a concern, I try to mount as much stuff up high and attached to the walls. The three drawer tool box is all electrical stuff with wire and tape under it and above mounted to the walls. This is sorta the same as my paper towel holder.
