Drainage issue

I have a small problem with drainage at the end of my asphalt driveway to the garage.
There's a ditch that starts on one side of my driveway, the other side i have a gravel parking pad.
The gravel is slightly higher than the driveway so when it rains the water washes gravel a cross the driveway. Unless it's a torrential downpour I can sweep the stone back with a broom but it's inconvenient.

The long term solution will be to put in a culvert with a drain on the high side, but I don't have the funds for a new driveway right now.

Any recommendation for holding the gravel back from washing on to the driveway?

A log staked to the ground with some rebar.

Snag some free railroad ties or old telephone poles on CL, and as OldWizard says drill through holes and drive rebar into the ground.

Maybe it's too much extra work, but can't you regrade the gravel?

I was planning to build the area up with more stone, but I'd have to raise the level a lot to make it flow the other way, I park my beater car here and I'd have to drive over about a 10" curb if I built it up enough. Also part of it is technically town land so I probably should t be altering the drainage

When I bought the house the stone area was overgrown with weeds and it held the water back so there was no erosion problem. when I got rid of the weeds and added a layer of traffic bond I started having problems with the fine material washing out

Few bags of portland pack it in to the gravel water well and you shouldnt have any errosion. We did this with a steep cottage driveway that kept washing out never did again.

Sat on the porch last night drinking beer and looking at my driveway and had a thought, I've attached a rough sketch
Here's the situation now, the blue line is the water I'm dealing with


I'm wondering how much it would help if I added a strip of grass about 6' wide to slow down some of the water that comes off the road and allow some of it to be absorbed before reaching the driveway.
The new grass is the highlighted area
