I recently purchased a Dramm Made in USA brass garden hose quick connect and brass shut-off valve. Both are exceptionally high quality. Though quite a bit more expensive than import models, I'll only be buying Dramm going forward. The knockoffs I've had in the past seemed to grow a "peach fuzz" of white corrosion. I haven't had these Dramm pieces very long, but I believe the real solid brass is going to serve much better.
