I feel your pain.

For what it's worth, there's a difference between close quotation marks and inch designations, and the guy who did the decals used the wrong one. But that's getting ridiculously **** about it. Those are nice decals.

These are nice, except for the apostrophe in Allens that's not supposed to be there.

You got Allen's order, maybe he got yours.

I don't have lables. The magnetic ones wouldn't work 'cause too many kids around would be snickering as I look in the drawers that are misslabled. I'm the old guy and I gotta let them have their fun, though.

I took a break and printed some out today. The thing holding me up had been the idea of coming up with a better place for everything. But I decided to just do the labels for where things had settled. I can always update them later.

For the Craftsman cabinet, I just made the labels black with white printing and stuck them to the drawers. They contrast with the door paint in these pictures, but in real life they blend in pretty well.

The Harbor Freight box came with labels and protective covers to slide into the handles.

A very generous Garage Journal member sent me inserts and covers for my second-hand Vidmar cabinets.

Some of the contents still seem way out of place. But I'll let my OCD simmer for a while and enjoy the fact that I won't be doing the 'multiple-open move' to find the right tool as often anymore.

Here's a quick pic of 4 of the ebay labels on my HF 13 drawer. I'm pretty impressed w/ them. Nice that they're magnetic so I can easily move around as I'm still setting up my cabinet.

The poor coloring doesn't show up on the label in person, something weird with blackberry camera pic.

I also custom made magnetic labels with a Dymo label maker and magnetic tape.

With a 7 year old son, the Label Maker is the way to go. He has the passion for tools and loves the tool box and garage.
