I saw someone else on here that recommended edpm rubber roofing sheet. I got 100 square feet for $20 from the local roofing company. I think it's great, easy to clean, solid (the checkered pattern stuff ***** IMO), and I could cut it to my odd drawer depth (28"). It's not super sticky but just enough to keep things in place if you don't slam drawers.

I have,in the past, used kitchen drawer liners cut to fit. They are sticky and cheap. Now I have Snap On liners and they work fine, too. Just cost a lot more.

I used thin yoga mats that they sell at a store called " 5 below ". They have 5 different colors and have worked well for me.

I use the drawer liners from lowes with zeerust. My garage is not climate controlled so moisture is an issue. I ran out and a couple drawers didn't get lined with it. The drawer with some pliers in it that did not have the zeerust liner started to develop a small amount of rust. My socket drawer (all USA craftsman) has no surface rust. One of the complaints about USA cman sockets is they develop rust too fast. Mine have none. I was skeptical but they seem to work well. Every winter a lot of my tools would develop some rust. This year all the drawers lined with it have none

Didn't we just talk about this last week?

I've used cardboard for 20 years and never had a problem. It's free and easy to replace if you ever need to.
