Anyone know of a trust worthy place to buy matching drawer pulls? I need 2.5 and 5 inch for a dresser I'm working on and I'm having a heck of a time finding those sizes in a matching set.

Really depends on dresser style and price range. I make a lot of arts and craft style furniture and my go to is Crown City Hardware in Pasadena CA. Big selection on repro stuff for period matching. But their quality is top shelf so it will cost way more than nickel plated Lowe's stuff. Rockler has a fair selection too.

What period is your dresse? Can you post a picture of the pull you are trying to match?

You could also make your own handles. Attached is a couple of pics. i took of some re-purposed cedar cabinet doors in my cabin they had holes drilled for handles at odd spacing so i made some handles with some old brass pulls and some European Roe deer antlers and a little epoxy

The brown dresser is what we're redoing, we are refinishing it in matte black to match the rest of our furniture and I'd like to do a silver or more the style of our other furniture. I'm not against making my own either. The furniture is somewhat sentimental to my wife.

But ya it already has 2.5 center to center and 5 inch center to center for the door.

If you can't find any have you considered filling in the existing holes? Then you can get whatever you want.
It's crossed my mind, I just assumed 2.5 would be a common size but I guess it's not as common as one would think.
