I just picked up a neglected old Macsimizer that has not been used in over 10 years. The grease in roller sides is like dried up and slide move poorly. I am brake cleaning old grease out but wonder what to use to relube them?

Also it has the narrow drawer that's like 12" tall and wonder what people put in that drawer? The only thing I can think of is blow molded cases for vacuum pump etc in it but I keep all that in a cabinet. Just cant figure out what to put in that drawer. Thanks for input

I heard many people say kroil is great. Me I haven't tried the stuff yet. Personally if everything is cleaned out I used spray silicone or penatrating grease the stuff that clings. Works great too.

Kroil or BP blaster is what I use, Lightly applied.

Use to use ol' wd-40, seems the other products work a little longer.

Kroil, PB blaster (penetrating), WD40 and the like are not lubricating oils, they are penetrating oils. Once the slides are clean you can use a number of different lubricants, I prefer a dry on lubricant. IIRC the factory uses a mineral oil based food grade grease.

For the deep narrow drawer, tall items such as aerosol cans or other fluid bottles, power tools, blow molded cases, welding helmet, basically what you find fits well for your use.

Drawers appear to have white lithium grease that has dried out and gumming the works up so I assumed it was from factory

I highly doubt the factory used white lithium grease.
