Drawer slide for Craftsman tool chest

I recently picked up this Craftsman tool chest. It's in decent shape, just needs cleaning, greasing, paint, a little rust removal on the bottom. One stuck caster so after soaking it in PB Blaster for days to no avail, I got a new set of 4 with swivel/brake for after the repaint.

Only other thing it needs is one drawer slide. For one of the left drawers of the top box. The top box is about 40" wide, 16" deep. The slide is 3/8" x 7/8" x 12 11/16" and looks just like the one I have shown here. It's the friction slide with no spring clips.

The thing is this box has been repainted at some point, and you can see where labels have been removed. All drawers are removed, there is no model number anywhere. Because of this, it's been like pulling teeth trying to get info from Sears. (Actually getting my wisdoms out was much easier.) I even took it into the local Sears and they said they wouldn't help me without a model number.

I was on chat with one guy who said he would check the actual length of one I thought might be right, and he said it was 12.6. So I ordered it. I received the part the other day and it is 13.6.

This upper/lower box combo comes up quite often in searches, so it must be fairly common. Does anyone have this box, or this slide, and could give me a model of box it came from? Or other help to get the right slide?

Thanks.

For the model number check for a white sticker inside one of the drawers on the side.

On the top box also check for stamping inside the hatch towards the front, not sure that will say model number though.

That was made by Waterloo maybe they can help...

Waterloo was very friendly and helpful. He sent me the model numbers and parts diagrams for both the upper and lower box. I see I've got some other parts missing too but nothing I actually need.

He said the drawer slide I need was redesigned to be an inch shorter so I'd lose drawer travel. I asked if they made a longer one that's the same otherwise, and he pointed me to one that is less than 1/4" shorter. Think I'll buy a pair of them and call it good.

Got my slides from Waterloo today. They fit just like said they would, and are the length he said they were. Perfect.
