drawer slide removal

I have an old box with some tools stuck inside, behind the drawers i am dying to see what has stowed away in there over the past 40 years or so. Does anyone know how to get these drawers out? and if anyone knows anything about this box please share... If it is snap on those stickers are too new.

Snap On has a feeler gauge type tool for removing the drawers.

1. Take a feeler gauge blade
2. Pull out the drawer almost all the way
3. Insert the feeler gauge blade into the side of the drawer stop, this will push the spring stop out.
4. Pull the drawer out the rest of the way.

with a flat head screwdriver push that red tab until it clears that dent while you pull on the drawer

Simple. You just need to push away with a flat screwdriver the drawer tab which acts a barrier to restrict the track movement (acting as a stopper). This tab is seen in your top picture, right in the track slot.

You push it just before it is ready to touch the track, so that the track can then carry on its movement. Hope it's clear enough.

When you reinstall, you may want to pull it back a bit so it is in a stopper position. When you engage the track , it will bend it back a bit (spring effect) and it will come back in position atfter having pass the edge of the track.

Thanks gents! I got it open. nothing too exciting though, got some files, a 1/4" craftsman socket, a us made tap a big bobby pin and a craftsman wrench.
