Does anyone here have a Chrysler DRB 3 or use one regularly? Is there any scan tool on the market that completely replaces it 100%? They seem to have gotten really expensive lately, and include varying degrees of accessories.
The FSM of my 98 Ram1500 regularly refers to the DRB 3 for diagnostic procedures. Of course, it was the factory service tool at the time. But it seems accessing ABS faults on this vehicle is not a normal scan tool function.
If there is something on the market that reliably replaces it 100%, I'm interested. If I need to cough up the money for a used DRB 3, thats fine too, but I'd like to know what I really need to be included with it, other than the OBD2 connector.
Any insight anyone has would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
