Question: Do you have any idea what the building originaly was built for?

This is going to be a cool place once you get it squared away.l

Observation: Good thing you folks aren't into sky high 4x4 trucks!

I know that it used to be a farm before the previous owners bought it, then it turned into a car junkyard for some time. That's also the reason there are still tons of old car parts on the 2de floor.

Sky high 4x4's are not for us, if I buy a pickup it will be slammed :D Maybe in the near future I'll buy one. Always wanted one but never had the space to work on it.

We got alot done today, moved out both nissans and started plugging some holes in the walls. Also closed up the big hole in the old door at the back so no cold wind can blow through the building anymore, makes it alot nicer to work.

Dragged some shelving around and put both crx's in the back, so now we can clearly see how much room is left for the rest of our cars.

Next things on the list are building a removable wooden wall behind the mark 2 and build some shelving against that wall, replacing some of the broken glass windows and finishing closing up the rest of the holes. + Start some electrical work; lighting and outlets.

Pics of todays work will follow later tonight.

what an awesome space, I love the exposed brick. how much sq ft do you think there is total?
How do you like the go-jacks? I want to buy a set but they are not cheap!
Good to see another EG owner on here :bounce:

The nice thing about parts for these cars is they are all small and not too hard to move, not like moving a 7 ft long hood from an early 70's muscle car :lol_hitti

Time for a new update, worked all weekend to make up the time we lost last weekend. We had a big car show where all of our clubmembers helped out so nothing got done.

Saterday we started pushing back all the cars into there place, we had to pull all of them out to get to one of the polo's in the back. We needed both of the front legs to send them out to KW so they can make a custom set. That way we didn't need to pull the slalom polo apart.

We also put our new guest inside, one of the drift cars, so we can work on that this winter.

Mayor job saterday was pulling out the tirerack/shelving next to the parts cleaner and organizing all the supplies we need for our meets.

Pics how it looked when we quit saterday.

Then today I build a wall behind the mk2 so our seating area is a bit closed of. And closed up most of the holes above the windows.

How I left it this afternoon.

I have no idea how big it is, I'll messure it next weekend if I don't forget

The go jacks are fantastic, push a car into the smallest places all by yourself. Very handy in a place like ours with all the pillars.
