Wow, what's the size of that garage? It looks like you could get 6 cars in there and still be able to walk around them.

Just kiddinig:

That's not a garage...That's a dance hall!

Very nice! I like the chain hoist!

By the way, is a Cobra in your future?

or isn't there room?

Thanks for sharing!

Very nicely done Jason!

It looks like you've parked the vehicles on pads that are on top of the flooring, which I haven't seen before.

Welcome to the site,
Brian

As far as the flooring. I really like it, BUT.... it stains when rubber tires sit on it.
I originally looked into Racedeck but wanted something smooth that had a shine to it. I went with VCT like the stuff you see in grocery stores, only black and white. It is real easy to sweep out, but the staining from the tires kind of *****. The mats are ribbed length-wise so sweeping them off is a snap as well as rinsing them off.

So what car do you have that requires the chain hoist? I don't see you pulling the Viper or Hummer apart anytime soon :p

Great looking garage... I could live in there and still have plenty of room for cars...

Ive done a couple of Frame-Offs in the past, and a FFR Cobra. Those require the hoist-action. Not sure if I will be doing anymore work like that due to injuries, but you never know, I thought Im only building a garage like this once so I should put everything I could think of in.

Love the rides, the floor, the french doors (very classy), the cabinets...everything. Two garages the size of mine could easily fit into your space. Must be great for entertaining!

Unfortunately the Cobra had to go for the Viper.

I can only afford one sports car at a time.
It was awesome though. 556rwhp and only 2180lbs.

Very impressive - what else can 'we' say. I don't think I could work in a space like that, though....my clothes would get the floor dirty.

Where did the cabinets and such come from, if you don't mind my asking?

Did you lay an acrylic floor finish down on your floor for protection? If so, did you mix in glass beads to keep it from getting slippery when wet? If there is floor finish on it, how frequently do you plan on stripping it out?

Jason,
Love your garage :rocker: and your toys, do you remeber the the specs or size of beam and what is your hoist rated at . I was thinking about putting one in my garage but it would have to span 40ft

Im not sure on the I-beam size anymore. I know there are sites that have the specs you need for a given span with maximimum weight cababilities. I went undersized what the specs said for the lifting ammount I wanted because they figure your lifting all the weight in the dead center. So moving the load to one side or other would dramatically increase the ammount you could lift. Or if I was worried I could stick a temp. brace while lifting really heavy loads.

It looks like the Maytag Skybox. I know Home Depot used to have them a year or two ago. Not sure if they still do.

I have not been around for a while.

The soda machine is Maytag Skybox. Very cool, but they break easily and are not real fix-able. I had it replaced once under warranty. I don't think they make them any more.

"Classic Black" and "cool white" or "white"?
Look perfect

I have a Skybox now, got one from eBay for my garage. Just looked way too cool in this garage and I had to have one. They are discontinued now, and mine jams all the time, but I love it.
