Finally after getting kids raised and off on their own, we moved and found a house that had enough room for me to build the garage I've always wanted. A separate space to call my own with only my stuff. No more having to rearrange everything to get to my tools and work on my cars.

Detached garage from main house
28' x 30' finished interior space
Brick exterior. Insulated & Drywall finished interior
2 - single doors on front for access
1 - single door on rear for air flow or pulling projects in/out
4 post lift for vehicle storage and underbody work
Epoxy floor
100,000 lumens of LED lights..... There are NO shadows.

Thanks for taking a look

Beautiful garage and some real beautiful cars! Congrats on finally getting your dream garage. Makes all those years sacrificing and spent doing family time worth it! Love it!

The whole works looks amazing !!

It's on my bucket list to own a pair of cars that are worth of being double stacked like yours are. I've always thought that was an amazing use of a lift as a lift and as a storage device at the same time.

Congrats on raising successful kids so they could leave then raising a garage with the money your not shelling out on the kids any longer! Beautiful space and the cars aren't bad either [emoji6]

Got probably 25 years before the kids are out on their own...but this stage is fun as well!

Very nice! How tall are your walls? Scissor truss, or stick built? Looks great!

Thanks !! The ceilings are scissor truss built and are approx 10’6” at the walls and then approx 14’ at center pitch. I had the garage doors installed to follow the pitch so there would be no chance in me hitting a car on the lift. I also had the electrician install the plug for the lift in the ceiling so that I didn’t have to worry about a cord on the floor as a trip point.

Thanks for all the kind words about the garage!!
I must Amit that my wife has been overly generous in allowing me to make this all happen. When the original plans exceeded the budget, she pushed me to not skimp on getting what I had talked about for many years. The third door was entirely her idea! We have a great breeze here and she knew that I would love having it open to enjoy during the summer months. In order to keep the budget within reason we took on many task ourselves and she was right there with me painting walls, painting cabinets, putting down the epoxy floor and even assembling the lift.
I’ve enjoyed reading your responses and appreciate all the great info that this forum offered as I planned my build.
