Just finished electrical and waiting for final inspection. 40 by 52 two story. High bay area for car addiction and lots of storage on second floor. Will have forced air heat with three zones. High bay, second floor, shop area.

I will be installing a Bend Pack 10K two post high lift, I have 22 ft in high bay area, floor thickened for hoist and rebar reinforced. Plan is to epoxy the floor eventually. All internal walls are plywood and all interior roofs are metal. 12 ft ground floor and 8 ft second floor with 5 ft wide stairs. Second floor is engineered for huge weight for auto parts storage. i have dome all work myself except for the main structure. Will have a vintage shop theme but will be a working shop for my vintage cars and trucks. Garage area will be for vehicle storage. All doors are high lift in high bay area.

All walls are R28 including internal walls and ceiling.Attic is R50. Will be starting internal 8ft pocket doors to separate the shop from the high bay and stairs. Will take pics tomorrow. No power yet need to wait for house build, thanks to my neighbor for power feed. testing electrical with generator power for big loads as the extension cord from neighbor is only for small loads.

Have you any plan of diesel generator in-case of power outage?

May I suggest you update your profile with a location as in future you may find that helps. Specially given this is a very global forum. Often you will find subjects may get different answers depending on locations and regulations.
