Dremel 4000 or 4300 at this pricing?

Hi all. I'm completely new to Dremels. I'm in New Zealand, and here's the decision to make: To buy Dremel 4000 or 4300? I have read reviews and most people point to the 4300 being the better of the two but that it can come down to use and price. I imagine I'd be a light user (but who knows?) and I guess price is a consideration. In NZ dollars (they cost more than in the US), I can get a Dremel 4000 4/50 for $156.00 (includes the flexi shaft, which interests me) or the 4300 5/50 for $211.65 plus a flex shaft would be another $56. I like the idea of the 4300 but worried it could be overkill. Thoughts and suggestions?

While I'm at it ... I'm going to be using it first to grind off some mould on a plastic shower tray (where mould formed under the sealant; sealant is off, but mould marks won't budge). Any suggestions for which attachment to use? Thanks in advance!

They have different types of chucks. I also understand that the 4300 is quieter than the 4000.

I have had a few Dremels, (probably 60 years' worth) and I normally use mine w/the flex shaft. I've never used a cordless. They're good for light-duty use, but stressed beyond their capabilities, you can 'let the smoke out' and need to source a replacement. That said, I would buy another if my current one died.
