Dremel EZ Lock sux

I bought one of this Dremel EZ Lock connectors and a set of carbon disks and I have had the center of those disk fail on me at least a half a dozen times. Do they quality control check these things?

I've only used one of the 5 disks so far, and it seems to be holding up well enough

I always go for the screw on collet versions...not taking a risk with the EZ **** stuff especially when a dremel is often running at 10k rpms.

I got the multi accessory kit that included the EZ lock and I have had no issues with them. Used the metal cut off wheel to cut an exhaust pipe on my motorcycle when I didn't have my compressor hooked up. It got used up quickly, but cut very well.

I've had excellent results using mine.I have sliced lots of small metal project pieces.,never had a single problem yet.
I have the 10 point-something volt cordless,and that works so nice.I wish they could invent an easier to change drum sanding bands,though.

Trust me...it sux. I love the standard carbon disks. They last forever.
