Okay, I know this has come up before, but does something like a "super" high torque Dremel rotary tool exist ? Yeah, I could buy a pneumatic die grinder, but I have a portable compressor that I would have to drag out to use, so corded or cordless would be preferred.

1/4" collet (optional 1/8" collet is a plus), WITHOUT an extended "nose". And let's keep the cost "reasonable" (<$150).

I was thinking of foredom, but not sure what they cost. Probably more than 150$... My bad I got mine for free.

Electric die grinders are available. I have a Milwaukee brand which is the same as the Dyna Braid brand tool. The Milwaukee version has a paddle switch which is my preferred type. Both have a 1/4" collet.

I beleive the Dremel is actually a sissified version of the product you are looking for which came first. Harbor Freight has a fake Foredom, maybe $60-70?

Foredom is the way to go - but the cheapest one starts out around $250 but IMO it is well worth it

I think its funny...I've worked in 2 production machine shops, in the bench area in both there was a Foredom that no one ever used. I tried but do not like the cable. Of course, in both we had shop air.

What I found worked fairly well was the HF pencil grinders (air powered). They're cheap, every 5th one is junk out of the box. But they are lightweight.
