Hello I just picked up this massive Dresser/Leroi 800 series 3-cyl air compressor pump! The whole setup seems to be in great shape, but boy is she large!! Does anybody know the specs on it?? CFM, PSI, Required H.P.? What do you think it is worth? Im thinking I might be selling it, it is just too big for my home shop!!! Thanks!!!

Why not contact the Dresser or Gardner-Denver directly? If you provide the serial number, they should be able to provide the specifications and date of manufacture.
It looks like it has not been run since it was repainted which could be good or bad, depending on why it was painted.

This pump is good for 15 to 25hp, and 250psi depending on pulley arrangement. 45-90 cfm.
Prices vary from $3000 (used) to $16,000. Rebuilt/NOS.
Absolute best of the best, industrial quality machine. It might be a hard sell though, this is not a homeowner grade machine, and any company looking to buy a machine of this size and quality is likely not looking on Marketplace for one. It might be best to reach our to a proper compressor shop to see if they are interested. They will have the customers who would be the most likely buyers, and they will be far more likely to do business with "pros" when buying something this expensive. You never know though, any shop handy enough might build their own if the shop compressor has failed. This is also the perfect machine for a diesel or large gas engine drive. You would need about a 50hp engine to run this to its potential.
