-In the powder room, have you used this configuration before with the toilet across from the sink? Most people that have this do not care for it, but it does help conserve space.

Our half bath is like that. Not a big deal. If the mirror's big enough you can make faces at yourself while you're sitting there :eek7::badteeth::yikes::Freak:

The nicest master setup I have ever seen was one giant room and the bedroom, closet, and bathroom was all one big room. The layout wasn't too far off from what you have now actually without the walls. The laundry room was walled for noise. The toilet was separated as well.

I would think someone was crazy if they suggested it before seeing it, but it was perfect.

Put a passthrough from your master closet to the laundry room. Either for walking, or to pass a hamper through, etc.

One more thing... you've covered it here (it's off the mudroom--good, but I hate pocket doors), but never have your half bath right off a normally used room. Ours adjoins the living room, and you hear every detail of what someone's doing.
