Congrats on the new place and welcome back. Sweet Beemer! Judging by that first pic you most certainly have your work cut out for you. What is your game plan?

Thanks alot well i was comuting from san antonio to austin so i still have a vehicle shell at the rental house that i need to bring this way , already moved most of the stuff out of the garage but still have alot of my wheels and other car **** at the old house , I was trying to plan it out to epoxy then bring the car but its going to need more time to cure , So im just going to have to bring the car up and park it in the driveway for now ,.

but all in all it will be a setup to allow for me to do my motor swaps and drift builds and last a long time I hope lol

I have alot of plans for the house including a small pond with Bio filtration in the backyard

and will be setting my salt water tank back up in my office , along with those the house needs a few items and I had to Bust in my garage inside door the other day from leaving my keys inside , so thats the project this weekend along with bringing my car from san antonio haha

Welcome, quick question...in the 3rd pic, what are the colors of the flakes?

-Mark

they are lilac purple with gold and silver metallic ,

all in all it will be planned possibly like this ,

acid
primer
base coat is black
then purple gold and silver flakes
then top off with glow flakes
then once everything is cured I will lay some stickers down
then clear coat and let sit for a week then bring the car in .

I was told it would be fine with epoxy and jack stands but does anyone else have an epoxy garage with a car on jackstands for extend timeframe?

also garage is i think 420 sqft , tried so hard to find a 3 car , they want almost 15k extra where im at for a 3 car , lol

ive supported the weight of the front of my camaro with a 3 post dead-man stand while using my lift. didnt scratch but i would be hesitant with jack stands.

i as well am interested to see how the flakes come out too.

Nice, I'm an LSU alum and was just thinking if I put an epoxy down in my shop I may use purple, gold and white flakes. Let's see some pics of your finished product!

-Mark

Awesome . The purple is atcually pretty bright i hope it blends and doesnt take over the gold and silver , but that may be cool too.

Cool, I'm interested to see how this floor comes out. When I was considering epoxy I got some metallic samples sent to me and liked that idea a lot. I thought they would look awesome with a nice heavy clear on top, and really add some depth.

That back yard shot reminds me of when we moved in to our house. Don't you love having a forest of weeds to enjoy back there? lol. I also see the baby bottle in there, hope the little guy/girl has some fun playing on that cool floor when old enough.

Thanks I will be building my car and the garage about the same pace ,
I am going to dry and lay the clear tonight and let it fully cure. the base has been on for about 2 days , its fully cured by now . may use a blower to get some of the old flakes out but thats it .

once its fully cure , car gets emptied and motor goes on the stand for tear down and build up .

next for the garage will be a Tire rack and collapsible work bench

haha yea my 6 month old loves the look . he was outside with me when i took that pic hanging out . once the garage is almost done ill start on the back yard and add railing to part of the porch and add a small pond

Very nice looking job...

Do you do decals for cars? I have a personal decal i would like to get made if you do that sort of work.
