I am looking for a drill bit extension that can handle a 3/8" bit like 24" long and if a little flexible would be great if anyone know where to get one? I have been looking but most are for hex bits. I bought some round wire brush to remove rust on my truck. I am looking for the extension to get into the frame and rocker panels. If the bend some would be great to get into some tight area. Does anyone know of any? I used to have one for 1/4" but ridged with a set screw about 30 years ago. Thank you

Amazon has a number of them. Longest I saw was 12" but I guess you could stack two of them.

Search "3/8" drill bit extension".

They do have 48” or 72 “ flexible drill bits for electricians or who ever
Yes, I have two of them myself.

BUT... OP is looking for an extension for an existing wire brush. Not looking to make holes.

yea that would be had to find maybe ... If OP is not looking for 1/4 or what not hex locking or not extension... the only other ones are the old style with a hex screw to tighten / secure the bits. Maybe walmart's rifle cleaning kit?

A few minutes with an angle grinder can make that round in to a hex end. I did that when I needed a custom length bit + extension while drilling floor joists for plumbing.

How about a 3/8” shaft, a 3/8” ID collar w set screws, and go wild?

Or take one of the 48”, cut off the drill bit w 24” of shaft, and use the remaining 24” for your brush, with collar?
