Drill bit index

I am looking to upgrade my bit storage from the standard huot indexes. I would love the huot 3 drawer cabinets but that's a bit more than I want to spend.

Is there an economical alternative out there? I thought about making dividers for a drawer in a Tool box but I really don't have time right now.

I've thought about buying Huot stuff from zoro on 30% sale. Maybe something to consider, but I'm interested to hear of any other options as well.

I see you can buy the set of 3 huots on eBay for $200, that doesn't seem horrible and more than likely how I will end up going.

I want bulk storage like that so I can have a bunch of often used sizes on hand.

I have never seen anything as good as Huot.

Drill Hog Drill bits (made in the USA, lifetime warranty) packages most of their bits in Huot cases.

I haven't used indexes in lots of years. I buy bits by the package lot and just toss them in the toolbox drawer. I've got about 15 different sizes that I commonly use and it takes much less storage space. Once half of them are dulled, it's time to order another package. One of these days, I'll end up with a drill grinder and sharpen all the dull ones around here.

I bought a Huot 3 drawer from somewhere awhile back and then found that HJE sells one with a large set of Norseman bits for a very decent price. Wish I would have just bought the half full one. Here is the HSS one, I think they sell a few different ones. Probably one of the best off the shelf buys I have found.

0 units in stock but a cool setup, wonder if they backorder these or if one time only type of thing? $180 all in but has 96 pieces with dupes in small sizes that need replacing more frequently.

My three Huots, picked up locally for $90, if I remember correctly. Kind of unorganized in that shot...working on that!
