I could use some input from my wise Garage Journal pals.
Last summer on that 450-mile-long 127 Yard Sale event, I stopped at a yard sale in the parking lot of an old hardware store. I walked inside, and saw this really cool metal drill bit display cabinet sitting on a shelf, mostly empty.
It turned out that the owners had just inherited the store from family members, and were in the middle of remodeling. So I asked if they would sell that display. They agreed. So I made an offer, and then loaded it in my truck. What do you guys think of it?
Yesterday I spent all day sorting tools from last summer's buying season, and trying to straighten and organize my small garage. I had planned to keep this cabinet and put all my spare drill bits in it, and display it in the garage. But space is at a premium in my shop, and now I'm undecided whether to keep it, or just resell it.
Any thoughts? If I decide to sell it...am I going to be the only person that likes this thing?
What do you folks think of it?
It's all metal and glass, and in really good shape. It's about 20" wide overall. The glass door has a latch which must be released from the back side, and it has a notch to hold the door open.
Would this thing sell on eBay? Should I put it in the GJ Classifieds instead? Will I regret selling it later? Are such cabinets common? Sigh. So many questions, I know.
