Drill bit?

Anyone recognize this style bit? It isn't marked with a size, approximately 1/4" in diameter...

Only markings are "Made in Ireland", and some random numbers I can't quite make out (likely a part number?.

Just looks like a 3 flute drill bit to me.

3 flute is correct, not center cutting, I have used them in the past to create tight sized holes for aircraft frame rivets.

Probably a core drill bit. Used for sizing a cored hole in a casting.

3 flute is something I've seen used for edge milling aluminum.

Core drill, edge cutting, mostly used for opening out rough holes so the bit dosent wander
