I am looking at some Morse hss drill bits was wondering if any one has used them. Or mention of another USA made bit

Morse is a recognised name in the cutting tool field. Should be a good tool though I have not used a lot of them. So glad you started the monthly drill bit thread.

My local industrial store stocks Morse and they are top drawer.

triumph thunderbits have gotten a fair amount of praise here. Snap-On slapped their name on them and charges twice as much so they cant be complete junk. Enco has a house brand thats USA made, also pretty decent and priced fair.

Preicion Twist is another brand to consider. Drill bits is one of those industries where there are only a handful of manufacturers left and a whole lot of rebranding going on so you have to dig through the BS.
