Looking for recommendation for a 3/8" drill/driver which uses the Lithium-Ion battery. I was looking initially at the Milwaukee 2410-22 M12 12-Volt 3/8-Inch Drill/Driver which is on sale right now at HD but the reviews say the chuck has problems. Let me know what you think. Thanks

How many freakin drill/driver threads has there been in the past year..............

Evidently nobody uses the search function.

This thread like every other one will have votes for Milwaukie, Dewalt and Bosch, with
absolutely NO conclusion.

I myself bought the MILWAUKIE Kit in Great Blow Molded carry case. This includes the drill, the impact driver, two Lithion Ion batteries, and one charger for $199.00 on AMAZON with no sales tax and Free Shipping. The 400 inch lb impact, I believe equals SNAP ON and then some.

Bah, Hum Bug................Have a Merry Xmas !!!!!!!!

Milwaukee's cheapest these days, but imho Bosch and Dewalt offer better performance. I prefer Dewalt, but Bosch is more affordable with comparable performance but slightly poorer ergonomics. I also prefer thinner grips.

Milwaukee hasn't updated theirs in a loooong time. But, new 18Vs are coming, and I hope that new M12 designs will follow shortly.

I've had the M12 3/8 drill/driver for quite a while. I've never had a problem with the chuck.

I just picked up a new DeWalt 20V 2 weeks ago and I love it. Seems to be balanced real well and not overly large. It also came with a 1/2" chuck. I think I paid something like $229 for it. BUT...if you read the fine print, it is 20V Max, not actually a straight out 20V Lithium-Ion battery
