hi, i have a $200 sears giftcard that i won at my work, so I was going to buy a tool with it. One tool i have wanted for several years is a drill press. I just need it for random projects, nothing in particular. I saw 2 models in stock at my local store and was wondering which machine is the best value?

12" $179 http://www.sears.com/craftsman-12inch-drill-press-with-laser-and-led/p-00934985000P?prdNo=1

10" $139 http://www.sears.com/craftsman-10inch-bench-drill-press-with-laser/p-00934983000P?prdNo=4

reviews looked good on both but if anyone has any sugestions please comment!

I'd probably get the 12" one. The larger capacity could come in handy. I know 2" doesn't sound like a lot of extra room, but it could make all the difference when doing a project.

I would never get a bench top model. Go for the 12".
