I have a Rockwell 32" Radial drill press Model 11-280. It works well for a light duty spinner, but is really geared toward woodworking as its lowest speed is 700 rpm. Not so good for larger holes in steel.
It has the usual 4-step pulleys on motor and spindle, and that's that. There isn't room to put a bigger diameter stack on the spindle, and going smaller on the motor would make the smallest step too small.
Is there such a thing as an intermediate pulley made for this DP? I could make something, but it would have to mount on the round radial arm, a tricky bracket for me to make with my limited tooling.
I'd rather buy it ready to bolt on if there is such a thing.
Anybody have one/know of one??
I'd also like to get ahold of a scan of the owner's manual (without having to buy it, of course!) in case it has such accessories listed.
No, I couldn't catch a break and have a 3450 rpm motor. It's a 1725 rpm.
