Drill Press Table

New drill press needed a new table for woodworking. Had some 5/8" Baltic birch with laminated top, great material for shop jigs. Simple table with aluminum t track for fence and accessories, added some thumb bolts to lock the table in and make it easy to install and remove.

I need to do this for my DP. Did that BB come with the laminate on or did you do that? I might have used a lower profile type of clamp, I could see those uprights getting in the way. Nice job though, should keep the arc of shame off of your DP table!

The plywood came with a laminated top. The clamps are usually for the fence, I have smaller blocks for the table. Never heard of the arc of shame, but very true.

One problem with adding a table like this the quill handles are too long. Had some 10" Dia hand wheels bored to size and broached a kw, works great. Does need paint though.
