MD: i can't tell you if your vise's vise table is original to that Buffalo drill press, but i can tell you that it's pretty cool and i see and own a few vises.

post it up in the show your old drill press thread after doing a search on it to see if one has been posted.

welcome to the forum and hope you stick around if you like old tools like that.

if you need any help just ask

MD: here's the link to the old drill press thread i think you should post pictures and more if possible to so the members that own old drill presses might see yours. for one it's pretty cool and i'm not sure I've ever seen a table like that and would like to see their opinion of yours.

another way to post pictures that might be easier for you is to use the paperclip just above where you write your posts sort of like attaching a picture to an email.

again nice looking vise table on your old DP

Thanks for the info. I'll take a few more pictures and post a thread of the press and the vise. The only other info I have on the press was that it came from a hosiery mill here (mid-1940s) in TN, and I purchased it from the the grandson of one of their employees. The paint on the vise matches the drill press perfectly, so I suppose it was ordered that way from the factory.
