Drill Press - Worklight and Digital Depth Display Dead

I have a Craftsman drill press model 315.219140. Both the work light and digital depth display have stopped working.

I've tried finding the parts, but they don't appear to be available individually. The closest I can find is the head assembly 89140301165, which is marked as
The manufacturer no longer makes this part, and there's no substitute part

Any suggestions for fixing this? Right now I'm just living with it, but it's a bummer.

Full disclosure, it fell over once and it's possible it was damaged when it hit. I did take the faceplate off and all the wires appeared to be connected.

I would suggest your PCB has a problem if all the wires are intact. Is there a fuse on the board, or a big crack, broken traces on the board, etc. I suspect someone here knows how to troubleshoot a board, but I don’t.

I didn't see a fuse, nor is there one listed in the manual.

I can look again at the board, but if it is broken I don't know what I can do about it if I can't find the part for sale.
