Check your specs, but I would bet a 5k will work.

The other switches are just control voltage so the smaller amp switches are more than fine. I ordered those switches because they work and the price was right!
Is this 10Amp stop switch acceptable?

Thanks

It should work. I assume your drill press has an input for emergency stop.
I'm not sure about the stop input. I figured you just wired it inline with the power or the fwd/rev switch. I've no knowledge in this area. The three phase panel currently attached is complex. I thought that the current panel would be completely removed replaced by the VFD. Advice needed.

Thanks,
Dustin

When I saw the stop switch you installed on your machine, I thought, that looks like a good idea(while I'm wiring it up anyway). But, if my DP isn't set up for it, that's alright too I guess. Just thought it seemed a good idea.
Thanks

Which drive did you buy again?

I just took a look at programing for that drive. You may want to skip buying switches until you are certain whet the different input programing does. You can simply use some short pices of thermostat wire and hook them to the appropriate inputs, program the inputs, also wire the line voltage in and out to the motor. Then just connect and disconnect control wires to varify how the inputs work. The inputs are low voltage and won't shock you if you grab a bare control wire.

Pretty sure this is what you need.

Connect,
The emergency stop switch from 11 to 9 (Oh **** button!)
One rotation from 11 to 8,
the opposite rotation from 11 to 7
These two can be the rotary switch I used, or a simple center off toggle.

Thanks for checking that out! I'm reading over it too and I'll do some testing this week when I get a chance to wire and power up the drive. I haven't done any wiring on it yet. I'll keep you posted.

Thanks!
