Does anyone have any experience with any of these Right Angle 90 Adapters / Attachments?

Milescraft Drive 90 Right Angle Attachment, Model# 1302
: $19.99

CRL Tight-Fit Drill Kit, Item # 00101 : $71.93

Milwaukee 49-22-8510 Right Angle Drill Attachment Kit : $49.99

I love using my Hitachi 1/4"(Quick disconnect) Cordless Impact but realize most of these are not designed to be used with an impact. I have some items I have at work that would benefit from the use of any one of these. A co-worker actually just destroyed one a week or 2 ago. I am now realizing how useful these can become.

I want to pick one to purchase and not have to worry about having to replace it sooner than later if used periodically.

If anyone has insight to any of the above mentioned attachments/adapters, please give us all a heads up!

Thanks

I bought one last year at Lowes. I used it with my cordless drill. It worked fine for running a counter sink bit on a kitchen cabinet install. I would consider it light to medium duty and I probably would not run it with my impact gun as I doubt it would be able to handle the torque.

Do you remember what brand you picked up from Lowes?

I actually kind of like the idea of a 5 year warranty on the Milwaukee.

The Blue Point version of the CRL Tight Fit Drill Kit was one of my first Snap On purchases over 20 years ago. It's very handy, but I wouldn't use it with an impact for sure. The plastic head heats up and fails over time. It's not a heavy duty tool. The threaded extensions that come with the kit, however, are very useful. I have multiple extensions and use them more than the right angle drill. After I broke my second one, I bought a used Dotco aircraft 90 degree drill on eBay. The Milwaukee seems nice but there is probably a better selection of short threaded shank drill bits for the CRL/Dotco type drills to deal with really tight situations.

I bought a Milescraft after my Skewdriver bit the dust after more than 20 years. Noisy ******* and not smooth at all. I would return it if I still had the packaging. Probably end up tossing it and checking out the Dewalt or CRL kit. Those with a chuck wouldn't fit in the tight spaces I need to drill. At the time I needed the adaptor immediately and couldn't find a Skewdriver.

What luck finding this thread as I just borrowed my neighbor's to drill out a broken bolt in a 3.5" space. His is a Snap On that looks identical to the CRL one. Prolly ordering the CRL kit tonight as it is $30 cheaper and spend the 'saved' money on extra bits.
While the Milwaukee looks nice, it'll only accept hex drive accessories which will really add on to the overall size. The Snap On/CRL with a short bit will fit into a 2" space!

How is it that with a garage full of tools, you always need one more? :D

I have the Milwaukee version and use it with a Makita impact. It is great for appliance screws and doing cabinet work. The adjustable handle is critical in tight spaces, as the other ones, you have to hold in your hand to keep them on the screw.

A coworker actually just bought the Dewalt version. He says it claims it is impact-ready! Guess we will see what up!

Follow up:

I bought the Dewalt DWARA100 for myself for Christmas.

Dewalt does advertise it as an impact accessory, but I haven't used it with my impact driver yet.

The problem I have is when drilling holes (1/8" in this case), the bit pulls out of the adapter when pulling back out of the hole, sometimes even when you reverse the drill direction.

Anyone else have any experience with one of these?

I have the Milwaukee attachment that i used to install child safety latches in kitchen cabinet drawers. Worked to my satisfaction.
Bought it on clearance at HD.
