I plan to drill out some 3/4 double expansion anchors that are currently in brick. Could be single expansion anchor - need to get back uptop the roof to verify OD of the holes they sit in.
Anyhow, the machine bolt itself is 3/8 ...
Presume the metal of these anchors is pretty much flared out onto the brick & and GOAL is to repurpose these holes and use new anchors, how would you attack this.
Methinks I might be going through quite a bunch of bit's just due to the very nature of how it needs to get drilled out.
Do you think it's possible to get something to ~punch~ the backside of the threaded portion out, will the outer sleeve collapse(lose it's expansion against the brick) and I could potentially literally pull the entire anchor out.
