I have a Sears Companion from the thirties and I am stripping it apart and cleaning up the rust ,grease and anything else necessary!!! So far I haven't been able to get the upper asst. Off of the main shaft and also the bottom has square nuts to loosen and they are frozen! So for I put evaporust and a lubricant trying to turn them but not a chance !!! Also I have to find out the proper bearing lubricant necessary??? Any suggestions will be appreciated!!! Thank you very much 😊

Try PB Blaster to loosen the nuts. Spray them down once or twice a day for a few days if need be. Evaporust isn't made to penetrate. If anything, you're gumming it up with Evaporust.
