I have a Sears Companion from the thirties and I am stripping it apart and cleaning up the rust ,grease and anything else necessary!!! So far I haven't been able to get the upper asst. Off of the main shaft and also the bottom has square nuts to loosen and they are frozen! So for I put evaporust and a lubricant trying to turn them but not a chance !!! Also I have to find out the proper bearing lubricant necessary??? Any suggestions will be appreciated!!! Thank you very much

Try PB Blaster to loosen the nuts. Spray them down once or twice a day for a few days if need be. Evaporust isn't made to penetrate. If anything, you're gumming it up with Evaporust.

Try atf and acetone 50-50 mix and let is soak for a while
