Ok, looking for expert opinions on this or even just regular old opinions.
I've always thought if I found an old Drive on Grease Rack that I'd pick it up to set next to my shop for the Nostalgia factor as well as the fact it would be handy for oil changes and such. A lift is way down the line in my shop plans but at this point I don't even have the shop built although I have the land and pad already.
So this rack popped up and I'm finding it hard to pull the trigger I don't know if it's the price or what but it just doesn't seem right, I'll prob. end up going and getting it but thought I'd toss it out here and see what the groups thoughts are on it..
The owner says it's 27 ft. 8 in. long 14 ft. for the lifted portion 6 ft wide, 3 ft. high off the ground and he's asking $800, I'd feel much better about it if it was in the $400 range but I'm cheap that way and I haven't tried beating him up on the price yet.

Anyway what do you guys know, good one's/bad one's, brands to avoid, good stories/Horror stories whatever??

Thanks in advance.

Mongo

Wow. Must be much better looking in person. I'd guess $200 would be a fair price.

is that a 'real' one or is it home made
Im not seeing how it would make things easier

Looks like it is home made and too narrow from the pictures at least. I think that I would pass on it myself.

Skip it! It looks homemade and not very well. Hold out for something better, you don't have your shop built anyway.
