No it's made like that had one just like it. It's a wheel alignment rack, see the recess in the rear for slip plates? Can't see them in the pictures up front but it has place for turntables.

On closer look you can just see the corner of the turntable in one pic. The rear slip plates are standing up by the trash can then they are on it in the pic from the rear.

I didn't like it for trans or driveline work that "crossmember" that the drive on lift sits on is usually in the way and it has a floor plate for the cables

we had a old in ground 2 post alianment rack where I worked. it was ok when you put the legs down for an alianment but all the way up in the air you can hang on the rack and get it swinging. when I was new I was told to move the car a foot forward and a foot back why some tech looked underneath. I swore I was going over. scarry.

Nice lift, also has twin sliding jacks.
When I did alignments, had one just like it.
Not the greatest for under car work, but when doing brakes, front ends, etc. the runways made for a very nice and convenient work table.
Sliding jacks were very nice to have.
Plus it was very stable when sitting on the legs.
Drive on, no arms to set, drive off.
If I had room, that would be my second lift.

We have one just like that at the shop. It is GREAT for alignments, but a pita for almost anything else.

Also, very bulky.
