When poured, 14 years ago, 1x4 treated wood was used as expansion joints between sections on both the driveway and the sidewalks. Now some of this is rotting away and most will have to be eventually replaced. I have recently seen what looks like pvc or plastic "capping" that has been pounded into joints on a sidewalk. These were black but I have seen other colors also. Almost like a "T" cap. Does anyone have any experience with this product or know where to obtain? The other option is to caulk the joints, but I just thought these joint caps had a nice touch.
